September is here and schools are finally back - hooray! I do love my children, but 8 weeks is surely enough. Sad to say summer is over and Autumn is just around the corner. There may still be a bit of sun to come, but we will all require a little jacket to cover our shoulders for when the chill sets in. The bomber jacket! My daughter tried to dissuade me from writing about bomber jackets, buy my wisdom over-ruled as I believe this is the jacket of the season. It is the new blazer, the new cardigan, and it goes with everything - over the new season's maxi dress, with a pair of jeans or even over a cocktail dress. Most of the jackets are silk or satin and are beautifully adorned with sequins or oriental flowers and birds. They are luxurious.

There are so many wonderful jackets to choose from, we are spoilt for choice. But do be careful how you wear it. The more embellished it is, the plainer the rest of your outfit should be. However, if you choose a darker colour, you can wear with other prints and colours. If you are big busted choose a less embellished jacket and don't zip it up.
